2. Providing the website

We use web hosting provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. In particular, your IP address and the content you request are processed to deliver the website. Technical information about the time, browser, operating system, device and, where applicable, the previously visited page is also processed. Our legitimate interest is to provide our website securely and reliably; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

IONOS states that its web hosting stores visitor data with an anonymised IP address for eight weeks. IONOS WebAnalytics statistically evaluates our website's automatically generated web server log files; according to IONOS, no cookies are used for this purpose. This analysis serves to optimise the website technically. Details are available in IONOS's information about data processing by web hosting and WebAnalytics.

Our pages use locally provided images and system fonts. Our own page code does not load any additional analytics or advertising services or social media embeds.

3. Contact and enquiry form

When you make an enquiry, we process your contact details and the information you provide about your project. This may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, event or deployment location, dates, requested services and message. We use these details to handle your enquiry, ask follow-up questions and, where appropriate, prepare a quotation.

If the enquiry concerns a contract with you personally or steps towards such a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, such as those from a company's contact persons, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in these cases is to handle and respond to your request.

After you submit it, the enquiry form sends your details through our IONOS web hosting by email to info@zelte-hartmann.de. The enquiry is handled in our business mailboxes. The email address you provide is used as the reply address. An enquiry is not a binding booking or confirmation of availability.

Required fields are marked in the form. Without the information needed to handle your enquiry, we may be unable to respond or prepare a specific quotation. Additional details are voluntary. You can instead contact us by telephone or email.

We retain enquiry data for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, perform any subsequent contract or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. It is then deleted unless statutory retention requirements prevent this. If further retention is based on a legal obligation, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Technical protection of the form

A technical session is used to submit the form securely. The necessary session cookie contains a random identifier and helps protect against requests triggered by third parties. It is protected against JavaScript access and is transmitted only over encrypted connections. It is configured as a session cookie without a persistent expiry date; how long your browser restores a session, including its cookies, also depends on your browser settings.

To limit abuse and detect duplicate submissions, the server also stores pseudonymised verification values derived from the IP address, enquiry content and submission identifier, together with the time, reference and submission status. The full message text is not kept in this technical storage. The verification values are taken into account for a period of 48 hours; older entries are removed the next time the technical storage is processed. Retention of the enquiry email is independent of this.

This protective processing is based on our legitimate interest in secure operation and preventing spam and duplicate submissions under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storage of, or access to, the technically necessary session cookie is based on section 25(2), point 2, of the German TDDDG.

Copy enquiry details

If you use “Copy enquiry details”, the prepared text is written to your device's clipboard at your request. This does not send an enquiry to us. You decide where to paste the text and whether to send it. Your browser or operating system may retain the copied content in the clipboard after you leave our website.

4. Google Maps with your consent

Our location map is embedded only after you click “Load Google Maps”. Until then, this map feature does not establish a connection to Google. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. When you use it, Google LLC in the United States and other companies in the Google group may also process data.

Once activated, Google receives, in particular, your IP address and device, browser and connection information. Google may use cookies or similar technologies and link information to your Google account if you are signed in. The map helps you find our location. Activation is voluntary; the address remains accessible without the map.

The legal basis for embedding the map and the associated transfer is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where Google stores or reads information on your device, this is based on your consent under section 25(1) of the German TDDDG.

You can use “Hide map” to remove the embed and withdraw your consent to its continued embedding on this page. Processing already carried out remains lawful; data already transferred or cookies already set are not retroactively deleted by this action. Our website does not remember your map activation for later page visits.

Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Google refers, among other safeguards, to Google LLC's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, standard contractual clauses. Information about these safeguards and how to obtain them can be found in Google's data transfer frameworks. The scope, further purposes and retention of Google's processing are described in Google's privacy policy.

5. Recipients and security

The people in our business responsible for handling enquiries have access to enquiry data. Technical service providers, in particular our hosting and email provider IONOS, process data to provide their services. Other recipients may be involved where this is necessary to perform a contract, required by law or covered by your consent.

Our website uses HTTPS for encrypted transmission. Depending on the providers and devices involved, ordinary email may not be end-to-end encrypted throughout. Please use the enquiry form to share only information we need for your project.

6. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have, in particular, the following rights:

If processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, simply send a message using the contact details above.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement (Article 77 GDPR). In Lower Saxony, you can contact the following authority:
